<title>Vietnam</title>
<description>
I have heard and read a lot about Vietnam but has never been there. She has a long history of pain, agony, defeat and victory. Her history moulds her character today. As I walked the streets of Saigon. or what is called Ho Chin Min city today, I could feel the soul of the city vibrating. This is a country in a hurry. They have lost years of civilization because of war imposed on them. A war they never wanted. A war that took millions of lives.

When I visited its War Museum (a must see) , I think they were not doing justice to their heroes. especially the unsung heroes. It did not create an atmosphere that it should be. It did not generate in the mind of the visitors after the end of visit, that we should abhor war. Maybe I was at the wrong city. Maybe I should visit Phnom Penn rather than Saigon.

These are some of the contradicting pictures I took.

<title>Earth Wind and Fire</title>
<description>Finally I made time for my rusted fotopages. I couldnt resist sharing my nolstalgic visit listening to the noise of EARTH WIND AND FIRE. It has been almost a year since I updated my fotopages. Not that I did not take pictures. I have gigabytes of them. Just that the photos I took were not worth sharing. The qualities were below par.

For those who feel that they want to test the market value of their photos, you are invited to join photography competition &#x22;WAJAH WAJAH TERENGGANU&#x22;. First prize is RM 10k. Yes. Ringgit Malaysia TEN THOUSAND. Details are found at http://www.terengganu.gov.my . Closing date is 31 July 2007. Good luck

<title>Asian Record Circuit 2006 - Dame Allen MacArthur</title>
<description>Was in Hong Kong last weekend. Yes...again. Twice in a mth. Went there to witness and sending off http://www.teamellen.com(Dame Ellen MacArthur), the fastest solo sailor record holder to go round the world leaving Hong Kong for next port of call Terengganu.

It was really inspiring to see n meet Dame Allen personally. She had already sailed from Yokohama to Shanghai and Hong Kong. She is now set to proceed to Tgganu and Spore before finishing the journey.

The question is why Tgganu? She heard abt it from Monsoon Cup event last year. That was the impact of Monsoon Cup to world sailing fraternity. Tgganu is now on the world map of sailing within such a short span of time. And this is just a beginning.

This is a good move by Tgganu to ride on the publicity thus making it the new destination for off shore sailors and turning it to the Monaco of Malaysia.

With this record breaking feat, I am sure after this, there will be those who would want to break her record thus making Hong Kong Terengganu sailing circuit an annual affair.

Good luck Ellen.

<title>Earth Day - Underwater Clean up</title>
<description>Joined Coral Malaysia yesterday to clean up the bottom of the sea near Taman Laut off Redang. We cannot imagine how these tourists could conveniently throw all kinds of rubbish into the sea including baby diabers. This inadvertantly could destroy the beautiful corals, our heritage to preserve to the next generations.

It is sad really. If this state of affairs should continue, we have nothing much left for our generations to see except pictures like these.

I must thank Coral Malaysia for the effort they put in to clean up our sea. Sorry I could not join them when they do another clean up at Pulau Bidong today.

I hope this is a message for all nature lovers not to treat our sea and river as dumping ground for our rubbish.

The pictures taken are not of best quality because the water was murky and my underwater sony camera was foggy. Just want to share.

<title>Round 5 - Lite Trail Reflection</title>
<description>After seeing Lobai&#x27;s entry, I was about to give up of winning this round. Suddenly i heard my wife calling for COMEL, our beloved cat. With candles in both hands, she went round the house looking for her &#x22;heartfruit&#x22; buat to no avail. As I was trying to give her a helping hand, I saw her reflection in the water. Quickly I took my assault weapon and took a shot. This is what it became.

Should I win this round, I shall dedicate this victory to COMEL.

So JUDGES out there, have a heart. :-D
